Hair today..gone tomorrow!

So I was watching Oprah a few weeks ago and she did a segment with Hilary Swank where she cut her hair and donated it to Pantene so they can make wigs for women and children with cancer. I had already been growing out my hair for Locks of Love and decided to read about Pantene's idea on their website. There you only had to cut off eight inches as opposed to Locks of Love where you have to cut of 10. I decided eight would be easier and faster and I was ready to cut my hair. SO yesterday I went and got it chopped and I love it! My hair is on it way to Pantene now! I ended up cutting about 10 inches by the time it was trimmed anways!Check out Pantene's website if you think you might want to try it too!!

New York City!!

Our trip to NYC was amazing. Brad and I had a great time and can't wait to go back. We only got to do a fraction of all the things that we wanted to do but still got to do a lot of things. Unfortunately due to the writers strike and the Broadway stagehands strike we didn't get to see Dave Letterman or a Broadway show. I was very upset about that but that means we just have to go back. We did get to see an off Broadway show called "Frankenstein" (not to be confused with Broadway's Young Frankenstein). It was very good though. Here are just a few of our pictures. There were places we couldn't take pictures and I figured that twenty pictures for one blog was enough. We went on a NBC studios tour and got to see where they tape Conan O'Brien and Saturday Night Live. We rode the train down from Syracuse while Paige played with all of her family in the snow. (My mom has all those pictures so I will have to upload them later.) The train ride was beautiful along the Hudson and it was nice to not have to worry about parking while we were there. It was so neat to just walk around in the city. They were starting to decorate the city for Christmas and it looked beautiful everywhere. Central Park was amazing and so beautiful. I am not sure why we waited so long to visit (especially me..growing up in NY and never visiting:) We will be back for sure...it's even hard to write all the things that we did.

These next two pictures are of a commercial, TV show, or movie that they were filming while we were walking through the financial district.

A play I would have liked to have seen.
More Times Square!

Brad and I at Rockefeller Center.
All the ice skaters at Rockefeller center. It cost 15 dollars a person plus 10 dollar skate rental so we didn't do it. We decided to save our money for something else. This same night we ate at an Irish pub around the corner and we saw Brian Williams from NBC Nightly News...our only celebrity sighting.

Happy Halloween!!

This year Paige was Pebbles from the Flinstones. She looked so adorable!
Getting ready to go trick-or treating! We took her to about ten houses and let her walk around outside and see the costumes. She thought it was fun. She did get spooked a few times at some of the haunted houses but overall she liked it. She wanted to walk right into people's houses! She also helped us give out candy at the door. We are already out of candy at 8:00. I bought five big bags. This neighborhood is to big. Next year I will have to be more prepared!
Enjoying a piece of chocolate after all that hard work. Mom, I think I like trick-or-treating!
Paige and I this morning with Laura and Will. Will was dressed as Bam-Bam! They were so cute together but we couldn't get a picture of them together. Will is 17 months old and Paige is almost 21 months. Toddlers don't want to stand still.

Sticker Fun!

Paige is in love with stickers! She wants to play with them all the time. Yesterday she went through a whole sheet of stickers. She likes to put them all over herself!
Mommy, I only have three!
That's more like it!

The past couple weeks!

We have been pretty busy the past couple weeks. My dad and Cheryl came to visit and we had lots of fun. Then we have been having fun playing outside with Paige, going to the pumpkin patch, and enjoying the cooler weather. Here is a pumpkin we carved this past Saturday. I forgot my camera when we went to the pumpkin patch so the ones after we got home will have to do!

Paige on her four wheeler! Now that we have a flat driveway she can ride on it! This was a gift for her first birthday from Nana and Papa. I can't believe that we are four months away from her second birthday!
Paige enjoying a cupcake that Mommy made.
No more baby face:(

Here are some pictures from when Grandpa was here. We went to the aquarium, went to a local dairy and went on a hayride, and spent lots of time playing with Grandpa and Cheryl.Driving Grandpa's truck.

Mom, I found a rock.
I love my necklace that Grandma gave me. I like to wear it all the time.
Playing on my car again!

This is so much fun!
Making smores with Grandpa at the bonfire. We also went in a corn maize but I forgot to take pictures!
Paige tyring out the jumping pad. All the big kids were knocking her off!
Testing out this tractor just for my Uncle Jay and Uncle Steve!
