Here is a side profile of Paige BEFORE haircut.
Sitting with Mommy getting my haircut.
Drinking juice so I would be distracted. Our blog was created so all of our family and friends near and far could keep up with our family in words and pictures!
Today Paige and I went over to our friend Gina's house. Paige played with her two children, Emma and Jack. Mommy's other friend Susan came over to play with her son Jake too! We had a lot of fun and are going to try to play more often!
Jack-six months old
Before we left this is how I found Paige asleep in her crib. Okay, doesn't look so comfortable. I am not sure how she managed that one.
Had to take two....
Paige playing with Emma and Jake. Emma is 19 months old and Jake is 16 months old. He was born two weeks later than Paige.
Emma was having so much fun splashing us.

The Rice's
Paige LOVED these. She was hamming it up so much sticking her head through the holes. I think it was one of her most favorite parts of the zoo.
This was her monkey face!
Paige's favorite part of the zoo was the petting zoo. She liked walking around and touching the animals.

This goat was asleep under the bench and Paige kept going back to this goat. She kept looking at him saying, "Hey". I think she wasn't sure why he was not looking at her. We had to walk back to it so many times.
SuperPaige! Daddy was helping her look under the bench at her favorite goat.
Petting the pig.
The house is still for sale. We are going on eight months now. We are truly hoping it sells by the end of summer. I am only going back to work part-time for the next school year so we truly hope it sells soon. We need your prayers! It was such a beautiful day today. Seventy-five degrees and sunny. I would think a mountain view off your back deck that looked like this would sell your house faster:)
Paige enjoying the day in her chair.
Trying to figure out how to climb in.
We planted some flowers in our pots yesterday because it was such a beautiful day to be outside. Paige was helping us!
So pretty!
Paige helping Mommy water plants. I think Paige would spend all day outside if we would let her. She got mad last night when we said it was time to go in for bath time. She wanted to stay out and play.
Our attempt at using the self-timer to take a family picture! This was the best one out of three!
Paige laughing at Mommy.
Me and my girl on a special day!
We had a great Mother's Day. Paige slept until 8:45 so Mommy and Daddy got to sleep late also. Paige got mommy a special card and flowers. Brad also got me a sweet card and a new shirt. We had a nice relaxing day together as a family. Paige is becoming so much fun. She is so interactive and we love spending time with her and we can tell she loves to spend time with us too. She makes us laugh and we love watching her grow and change. Being a mom is so amazing and I feel truly blessed to have been given the opportunity to be one. I have so many hopes and dreams for you Paige. I am so blessed to be your mom and I love you so much. You have truly changed my life and I am so glad that I was chosen to be your mom! I thank God every day for Paige and for Brad and all that they mean to me.
Here is Paige playing on her hippo chair. In her hands she has her blankie. She LOVES it!! She likes to carry it with her everywhere.
A cute pic I got this afternoon after she woke up from her nap. This morning Paige had her fifteen month check-up. Her stats are in:
Last Sunday we invited Melissa and Dave over to celebrate Dave's birthday. We ate dinner together and had some yummy cookie cake with Dave's favorite: ice cream!! Happy 28th Dave!!
Paige playing peek-a-boo with Dave and Melis.
Reading a bedtime story!
Last weekend was also a first for me! I ran my first official race. I have been training at school with an after-school running club. The fifth grade girls participate in the club and we work on building up stamina and teaching them a healthy way to exercise. I decided to help so I could lose that last five remaining pounds of baby weight(gaining 45 pounds was not a good idea) I did lose that last five pounds and can run about 2.5 miles on a consistent basis! Yeah!! Anyways we had a race at my school last Saturday. It was listed as a 5k but Brad and I measured it out and it was actually closer to a 6K. I finished the race in 38 minutes. Not bad for my first race. I was hoping for about 35/36 but the day before the race I got really sick! SO I ran the race with a cold and still did well. So I ran about 12 minute miles!! Pretty good!! I am thinking about doing it again! I really enjoyed it!
