Nine Months Old!!

Logan is now nine months old! He is pulling up all over the place and cruising around the furniture. He still army crawls but is so fast. He can also push him self to sitting from laying down. He is also spitting all baby food so we have started the transition to table food. He has had toast, lots of different fruits, and sweet potatoes so far. He also has one tooth finally. His second bottom one should pop through the gum any day now!
9 month stats:
19 pounds, 5 oz (35%)
28 inches (25%)

He won't sit down any more so I have to let him stand!!

So cute!

Swim Lessons for Paige

The past two weeks Paige has been taking swim lessons at the Y. Here she was today before her last lesson. We also found out today that she has an ear infection. She is a trooper though and wasn't complaining of pain until after lessons.
Kicking in the water.

Chasing after the ball.

They have learned about blowing bubbles, emergency procedures in water, using life jackets, floating on their back/front, and may other skills. Paige did a great job the last two weeks and we are so proud of her. She loved every minute of it.

Smiling in the water.

Swim my little fish.

We are going to continue lessons in the fall and winter until she can swim by herself all the way.

Fun in a Box!!

The other day we opened this box and I thought I would let Logan play inside it. He was standing up in there dancing all around!

I'm so cute:)
Momma, I'm gonna get you!

So cute!

Big sis joins in on the fun.

Logan's First Haircut

Today we took Logan for his first haircut. Here he is in the chair getting his hair wet for the cut.
I love this picture. It looks like he is staring at the lady and thinking just what do you think that you are doing.

Cutting away.

Gotta cut around the ears.

Using the trimmer. He was so good the whole haircut. He never fussed or cried. Brad and I were surprised because he hates when you wash his hair in the tub at night. He doesn't want you to touch his head and hates anything on his head. He was such a good boy. I think having his own special comb to play with was part of the allure.

All finished. What a cutie:)

Guess who is army crawling??

It's true. Logan is on the move. Last week he started officially army crawling. He pushes with his legs and pulls on his stomach. He is trying to do it on all fours as well but hasn't quite got the hang of it just yet.
Big Sis playing with her bro!

Here he goes!

I'm moving.

Rocking back and forth!

Messy boy!!

Logan has decided that is really fun to spit during meal times. He likes to show how messy he can be and show off his mad spitting skills. What happens after is a messy boy:)

Mommy aren't I funny??

Six years!!

Today Brad and I celebrate six years of marriage. I can't imagine a better life partner to have by my side. I love Brad more and more every day especially as I watch him with our kids. He is an amazing father and a wonderful husband. I feel blessed to have him as my husband. Last night Brad and I went out to a nice dinner while his mom babysat for us. Here we are before we left.

Self portrait!

At the table there were roses and a photo of us. Brad's mom dropped it off before we got there to surprise us. Thanks, Helen!! That was very thoughtful and sweet. We loved the surprise!

Brad and I at dinner!

We shared two yummy desserts. One was a chocolate mousse and the other was blackberry cobbler. The cobbler was amazing!

Eight Months Old!

Big boy!! I think he weighs about 18 pounds now. I know he feels like it when I am carrying him.
Today our little man turned eight month old. This month he has become so active. He doesn't want to sit still to have his diaper changed, face washed, or get dressed. He is trying so hard to crawl but so far is just creeping. He loves to hold on to your hands and stand. He doesn't want you to let him down. He isn't content to just sit. He is trying so hard to figure out how to move.

He loves to play with his pacifier now that he can put it in by himself.

He has also tried teething biscuits and puffs.

Testing out his duckie tub!

First Swim at the Pool

Last weekend we took Logan for his first dip in the neighborhood pool. He loved it and was having a fun time floating around in his baby float. Here is is relaxing by the pool!
Testing out his float.

Mommy, this is so much fun!

His second favorite activity was chewing on his hands. Teething!

Logan & his big sis!

Paige is learning to swim more and more by herself. She goes to swim lessons in July for two weeks. After I took this picture she took of her life vest and was just using her floaties.
