Paige's First Day of Preschool!

Here is a picture from this weekend of Paige showing her new school bag, lunchbox, and new sneakers! She was so excited for school to start this week. Paige will be going to preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-1. She will go on the days that I am at work. She will still go to Ms. Laura's in the morning and she will take Paige and her son Will to school! Laura and her family are wonderful friends of ours from church and they are also in our bible study! We are excited to have a similar routine to last year. Paige loves Ms. Laura and her buddy Will! I can't believe she is ready for school!
Showing off her lunch box!
Here is a picture of Paige and Will on the first day of two year old preschool! Will is actually younger than Paige by 3 months but is very tall for his age! Will and Paige are great buddies!

Paige's BIG News!

Yes, it's true!! We are expecting our second baby. We are very excited and Paige is ready to be a big sister! I am about 10 weeks along now. We got to hear the baby's heartbeat at the doctor's today and it was so amazing to hear that little sound again. I am due on March 9th so Paige will be three when the baby is born. So, now you know the reason why I haven't been updating the blog lately. I am so EXHAUSTED! I would rather sleep than do anything else. Hopefully when we hit the second trimester in a few weeks I will be feeling much better. I also started back to work last week so I have been even more tired. Many of you know that I teach first grade in a jobshare classroom. We share the classroom and we each work 2 1/2 days a week. I love it! We start that schedule next week. The first two weeks we work more of a full time schedule. The first week is getting our classroom ready and this week the kids started back on Monday. My partner and I each worked the first two days so they kids could get to know us both and we could learn about them as well. So today is my only day of this week. Next week I start my normal schedule I work Tuesday, Thursday, and and 1/2 day on Fridays. Enjoy the cute video!

River fun!

Today we met my friend Erica and her son Jack for a play date. We played for awhile at Erica's house and ate lunch at her house. Then we took the kids to a local park that has a river inside the park. We let the kids wade and play in the water. They had a blast. Erica is due with her second baby in three weeks or less. We tried to squeeze in one more play date before Blaire Eva arrives. Enjoy the pictures! In sad news I only have one week left before I have to go back to school. The summer has gone by so fast. At least I am only going back part-time again! Paige and I have been having fun this summer and are sad that it is almost over.

Look at Jack jump!

**In other great news, two of my best friends welcomed their second children into the world in the last two weeks! Congratulations and we can't wait to meet them!
Kate and James welcomed, Ella Naomi Carlson on July 12th!
Bridgette and Don welcomed Aidan William Donal Coleman on July 21st!

Happy 4th Annivesary!

While we were in NY last week Brad and I celebrated our 4th Anniversary on June 26th!We decided to forgo gift giving and do something fun with just the two of us. We decided to rent a room at a bed and breakfast in Skaneateles. It was called The Hummingbird House and we stayed in the Rose Room. We got their on Thursday afternoon and walked around the shops and sat down by the water talking. (Skaneateles Lake) Then we headed back to our room and got ready for dinner. We ate at Rosalie's Cucina. The food was fantastic. It was very nice to have some time for just Brad and I as a couple. I love you so much, Brad and I look forward to many more years together. Thanks for a wonderful day!

If you are ever in Skaneateles it was a beautiful place to stay with a wonderful host named Sabina. She makes a delicious homemade breakfast too!

Vacation in NY!

Last week we went to NY for a short visit. We found out that Brad couldn't take any vacation in July so it was kind of a last minute trip. We only got to stay for about six days. We didn't get to visit with everyone that we wanted to but we still had a great trip. Paige and I might try to go back in July. Grandpa Steve built this little cabin in the woods and he likes to call it, "Paige's playhouse". Here is Paige sitting on the porch!
Cheese!

Playing with Grandpa's dog, Cocco and another doggie friend!
Playing dolls and visting with Aunt Tina and Aunt Cindy!
We also took Paige mini-golfing for the first time. She seemed to enjoy herself but she wasn't quite ready for true playing yet. She had fun watching us and she liked dropping her ball in the hole.
Checking out to see what Grandma's putting skills.

Daddy helping his girl.
Paige watching Daddy golf.
Grandma was eating an apple before we went golfing and Paige thought that she needed to eat it too. She think that she is such a big girl. Everything she says now is usualy followed by, " I do it myself".

Check out the saturated diaper. She looks like a bee!
From behind...Brad and I were laughing so hard. We ran out of swim diapers so we used a regular one. Helping Grandpa Fred fill the pool.

One day last week Kate, James, Ryan, Missy, Jordan, and Issac came to visit us in Syracuse. They stopped in for lunch and we had fun chatting! We were excited to see The Carlson's before they become a family of four. Kate is due on July 19th!

Paige and her new trick she learned. She thinks that she is funny. I have no idea where she got it from but she tried to blame it on everyone.
