Fun at the Children's Musuem!

Yesterday we went to the Children's Museum in Atlanta. My mom and stepdad are in town for a week visiting us also. We decided to go on a field trip yesterday! We had a great time. Paige loved all the things that she had to play with. It was so fun to see her play on all the toys and I am so glad that she enjoyed herself! We all had fun playing with her too!

Paige had a blast. There was so much to do all over the museum. When we first walked in she just kept walking around and wouldn't stop to play. I think she was so overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. We will have to take her back again. What a fun way to spend a Saturday!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all mommies out there! We had a very nice day yesterday. It started with Brad and Paige bringing me breakfast in bed. Brad made scrambled cheese eggs, fruit, and chocolate croissants. It was very tasty and super sweet. Brad and Paige also gave me flowers and a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure. I felt very special and we had a nice day together as a family. We went over to Cassie's house (B's sister) and saw his mom and dad too. It was a nice afternoon just enjoying being with family. I only have these three pictures. Two pictures of Paige enjoying her croissant and a picture of the breakfast! I am so blessed to be Paige's mom and am so happy to watch her grow. Visiting with Grandpa and Cheryl!

Last week my dad and Cheryl came to visit us for the week. We had a terrific time with them and it was so nice to see them. We got to do lots of fun things with them and we even got to celebrate Grandpa's 54th birthday! Here is Paige playing in the park with Grandpa and Cheryl. They also brought their puppy Coco. She is six months old and Paige absolutely adores her. She is the perfect size for a toddler. The two of them together look like old ads for Coppertone lotion. I need to get a picture of Paige in her diaper with Coco trailing behind her:)

We also went to the zoo this week and Paige seemed to enjoy it. She seemed afraid a few times when we saw the animals come up close to us but she seemed to get better as the day wore on. Her favorite animal of the day was the merekats. She thought they were funny. We decided to but a season's pass because we plan on going a lot this summer and Paige really enjoys seeing the animals.

Spring Break!

Last week my school was on spring break so we decided to take a trip mid-week to go visit our friends in Ohio! (Don, Bridgette, and Brennan and Baby Coleman #2). We had a great trip visiting and spending some quality time together. We went to the zoo, played on the playground, ate lots of delicious food, visited the church where Don works, and just hung out and let the kids play together. Bridgette even arranged a baby-sitter for one night so the four of us got to go out to a nice dinner and coffee. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Enjoy some of the pictures from our trip.

Beautiful spring weather!

Today Paige and I went to the park and had a play date with her friends and Mommy's too! Here she is sitting in the tree looking so cute! (Thanks, Erica for the idea.) The weather was beautiful today. It was about 75 and sunny. A perfect day in the park with friends.
