Colorado Trip, Our cabin!

Brad and I on the deck of our cabin. For our trip we rented a cabin in the woods complete with a wrap around porch, hot tub, sauna, and majestic views. It was 3 1/2 miles off the road with no Internet, T.V., or phone service. It was indeed a true vacation. The cabin was beautiful inside and out. We had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying each other's company as we eat meals together and relaxed in the hot tub. Tara, Matt, Melissa, Bridgette, Don, Brad and I enjoyed our stay very much. We missed James and Kate so much and it wasn't the same without you all!

We love the zoo!!

We visited the zoo on Monday and had another great time. Here is Paige giving you a smile as a panda.

My grandparents bought me a new tiger because I talked about tigers all day at the zoo and the day before. I kept saying, "Where did my tigers go?" She thinks that everything is hers!

Fun at the Children's Musuem!

Yesterday we went to the Children's Museum in Atlanta. My mom and stepdad are in town for a week visiting us also. We decided to go on a field trip yesterday! We had a great time. Paige loved all the things that she had to play with. It was so fun to see her play on all the toys and I am so glad that she enjoyed herself! We all had fun playing with her too!

Paige had a blast. There was so much to do all over the museum. When we first walked in she just kept walking around and wouldn't stop to play. I think she was so overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. We will have to take her back again. What a fun way to spend a Saturday!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all mommies out there! We had a very nice day yesterday. It started with Brad and Paige bringing me breakfast in bed. Brad made scrambled cheese eggs, fruit, and chocolate croissants. It was very tasty and super sweet. Brad and Paige also gave me flowers and a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure. I felt very special and we had a nice day together as a family. We went over to Cassie's house (B's sister) and saw his mom and dad too. It was a nice afternoon just enjoying being with family. I only have these three pictures. Two pictures of Paige enjoying her croissant and a picture of the breakfast! I am so blessed to be Paige's mom and am so happy to watch her grow. Visiting with Grandpa and Cheryl!

Last week my dad and Cheryl came to visit us for the week. We had a terrific time with them and it was so nice to see them. We got to do lots of fun things with them and we even got to celebrate Grandpa's 54th birthday! Here is Paige playing in the park with Grandpa and Cheryl. They also brought their puppy Coco. She is six months old and Paige absolutely adores her. She is the perfect size for a toddler. The two of them together look like old ads for Coppertone lotion. I need to get a picture of Paige in her diaper with Coco trailing behind her:)

We also went to the zoo this week and Paige seemed to enjoy it. She seemed afraid a few times when we saw the animals come up close to us but she seemed to get better as the day wore on. Her favorite animal of the day was the merekats. She thought they were funny. We decided to but a season's pass because we plan on going a lot this summer and Paige really enjoys seeing the animals.
