NY Part 2

Otisco Lake....we spent the third of July at camp for Light Up the Lake night! It brings back so many memories of my childhood and Grandma Carol. I know she was with us in spirit!

NY Part 3

Paige- swim lessons!!

Last week Paige passed her swim lesson class in level two. She can now swim underwater and quite a few feet by herself. She has much more confidence and wants to try new things. She loves to jump in the water and jumoing off the diving board was her favorite activity at swim lessons! We are proud of her hard work. We think she will take swim lessons next year too and we think that is all she will need!

NKOTB

Erin, Stacey, Sarah, Erica, and I went to see NKOTB and the Backstreet Boys last week in concert! It made us all feel like we were 14 again! We had a blast! Erica made us this sign to take our picture with:)

Zucchini Overload!!

Our garden is over run with giant zucchini! So what does one do? You make lots of recipes that involve zucchini!!

The end result. Brad and I liked them. They were similar to a potato pancake. The kids verdict was just okay. I then made zucchini bread which is always a hit at our house. I also shredded some zucchini to freeze for later. Our last venture was homemade chocolate zucchini bread. That was a huge hit especially with Paige and Logan as evidenced below!!

Vacation Bible School Family Night

Last week Paige had VBS at our friends church here in Canton. It was a Ranch/Cowboy theme and she had a blast! While she was gone one night Logan though he would organize the chairs.

On Friday they had a family cook out and a program. Here is Paige performing her song with her class!

Paige trying to be a scary spider. Last week we went to story time at the library. The theme was Around the Word. They read a few stories, had a dance party and the kids made these spider hat crafts that went with one of the stories. They had a great time!

Sprinkler Fun!!

Maybe it's time I update the blog:) HAHA!! These pictures were from 2 weeks ago when we got the sprinkler out when it was HOT!! The kids loved it!!

Here is the garden at the end of May. We have already brought in summer squash and zucchini. We haven't seen green beans or cucumbers yet!
