 After the last game the coach took the kids to a restaurant and bought them lunch. They each got a medal and a gift card. He was a great coach and you could tell he really enjoyed it.

Kindergarten Awards Day

 On Monday was awards day at Paige's school.  Here she is excited to see us!!

 Ms. Johnson started with a little poem about the year.

 Then the kids read a little skit about "The Very Hungry Kindergarten" They each read lines about something they had done during each month of the school year. Paige got to read about something that happened in February!

 Then they sang a song called "The Future's Looking Good to me".

 Paige won "The Author of the Year" award for outstanding writing in Kindergarten.

 Om Monday it was silly hair day at school!! Logan got to have green hair and mohawk!! He thought he was so cool!

Landscaping

 About a month ago we decided to change our front yard landscape. I should have taken a before picture. We used to have these huge juniper bushes that took up too much space in the front. After a very long day we got those all torn up and out. We put down a lot more mulch. Our grass was dying due to the tree limbs,so we cut some of those off. We also added new pavers and trimmed the bushes. Next step is to try to grow some new grass in the bald spots and add some more plants to the mulch area! We like it so far. It looks so much better!

Kindergarten Field Day!

 Yesterday was field day at Paige's school for Kindergarten! I loved this sign the school had made! So cute! Logan and I went and watched Paige for an hour. We had so much fun watching her have a great day with her friends!

 This past weekend we worked on putting in our garden.

 We put in cucumbers, zucchini, cantaloupe, green peppers, tomatoes, and summer squash! Hopefully our harvest will be plentiful!!
